This week we are learning about the different rooms in a house with our Mother Goose Time preschool curriculum.
Booger made a house out of a paper bag and enjoyed some imaginary play. Then we read this month’s I Can Read book, focusing on being able to recognize this month’s sight words, “make,” “for,” and “my.”
Booger loved playing the “Guess Which Door” game! After cutting out the door cards, I placed them on the table door side up. He flipped the cards over one at a time to see what animal lived in each house. Then, I asked him to share something he knew about each animal.
We also had a great time using geoboards and rubber bands to make different house designs. After trying out different shapes, the boys made their own designs. The boys had so much fun that this activity even went with us to the park for some Mother Goose Time on the go!
