Week Three of Mother Goose Time‘s Alphabet Island theme was all about exploring the island.
The boys took turns using the story sequence cards to tell a story. This month’s cards were pretty tricky and required them to really pay attention to the details in the pictures to get them in the proper order.
You can’t explore an island without a map and a map isn’t fun if there isn’t a treasure to be found! The boys worked together to hide the treasure and then make a map for me to follow. It was really fun and there were quite a few giggles from everyone as I tried to follow their maps!
This week’s folder game was a winner! It was very similar to Chutes and Ladders, so they boys were able to get right down to playing. They loved having their game pieces climb up the ropes and slide down the waterfalls.
Thanks for stopping by! Next week we wrap up Alphabet Island by having some Island Fun!
