This week we learned about our five senses with Mother Goose Time’s My Amazing Body theme.
We made a bowl band to learn about our sense of hearing. The boys played with this simple instrument all week and learned how to change the sound by tightening or loosening the rubber band strings.
The boys had fun playing the five senses game. They were quick to notice that some of the cards matched to multiple senses. For example, you can smell and see a skunk, and while you probably could touch it, you wouldn’t want to!
We used the hidden picture mats to learn about our sense of sight. This is one of those activities that the boys will want to play over and over, so I laminated the mats and cards. I love that each month we receive a variety of consumable and non-consumable activities!
New this year are the alphabet coloring pages. I plan to collect these all year long and turn them into a book at the end of the year!
Thanks for stopping by! Next week we’re learning about clothing!
