May just flew by! I can’t believe that we just finished up Week 3 of Mother Goose Time‘s Bug & Crawly Things theme and June is just a few days away!
This week Iron Man and Spider Man joined me for our preschool activities. They quickly learned that their gloves made it really hard to pick up the cards!
The boy’s had so much fun with the butterfly invitation to create. While setting out the materials, we talked about how butterfly wings were symmetrical and looked at the inspiration photo for examples. I explained that if we painted half of the butterfly on one side of the paper, and then folded it in half while the paint was still wet, we could make symmetrical butterflies too. Monkey was so excited to fold his paper in half and see the “magic” when we opened it up again.
Thanks for stopping by! Next week we will wrap up Bugs & Crawly Things by learning about crawly things.
