This week we are learning about how gardens grow with our Mother Goose Time preschool curriculum.
In this Invitation to Create, we used common household supplies to make our own version of an onion sprout.
Booger’s favorite activity was using our connecting cubes to create various flower designs. After he made the flowers, he passed them out to each family member – it was so cute!
We also made a plant diagram using yarn and a pipe cleaner to represent the roots and stem of a plant. We then used construction paper and tissue paper to create the leaves and flower. Booger’s creation had a bit of an abstract feel to it!
Thanks for stopping by! Next week we will learn about garden visitors.
