This week we are learning about world markets with Mother Goose Time‘s “It’s a Small World” theme. The boys learned that markets around the world can look different than the markets they are used to seeing.
We learned about masks by creating our own carnival mask – which will be perfect for our upcoming Mardi Gras party! We also used mask puzzle pieces to create different masks based on the design we landed on. After we replicated all the masks on the spinner, we designed our own unique designs.
Booger loved making a kite with a paper plate and streamers. He was a bit disappointed to discover that his kite wouldn’t really fly, but he had fun running around with it flapping behind him.
Monkey’s favorite activity was sewing a rug. He discovered how to make different shape designs with the thread.
Thanks for stopping by! Join us again next week as we continue with “It’s a Small World!”
