This week’s Mother Goose Time lessons focused on small sea creatures.
Using a shower cap and ribbon, we made jellyfish hats, then engaged in some imaginary play. We started by pretending that we were the jellyfish, just floating around the ocean. Then the jellyfish attacks started… This simple prop led to so much fun!
We also did an x-ray fish invitation to create with straws and a few triangle cut-outs. Booger loves being able to create freely, but has been starting to have his projects look more and more like the inspiration photo. I very much believe in process art over product based art projects, but it is very nice to start getting some finished projects rather than a mess!
And here are a few more art projects from this week!
Thanks for stopping by! Next week we will cover ocean exploration.
