This week we began our new Mother Goose Time unit on Superheroes. The first week was all about Superhero gear!
The boys were excited to create their superhero symbols. They enjoyed sprinkling the glitter over wet glue so the letters stood out.
Some superheroes have x-ray glasses, so we made our own x-ray viewer and searched for hidden pictures. Booger didn’t know what to expect and I absolutely love this progression of pictures as he is discovering the “magic” of his viewer.
We took the game a step further and tried making our own hidden pictures. Monkey made clues and traps with a green crayon and then we colored over that with a red crayon – you can still see the clue, but it was obscured enough for the boys to have fun with it. They spent hours playing their new game!
Thanks for stopping by! Next week we’re learning about superpowers!
