This week we are learning about the seasons with Mother Goose Time‘s preschool curriculum.
We played a weather matching game – I wasn’t paying attention at first and thought that we were supposed to match a clothing item to a season (for example sunglasses match to a picture of a sunset at the beach or an umbrella matches to a rain cloud). That wasn’t the way the game was made to be played, but it was a fun spin on the traditional matching game!
Monkey read this month’s I Can Read book to us and Booger tried to find this month’s sight words with the sight words pointers.
The boys had a blast with the magnetic story telling pieces. It’s been so much fun using this new feature! To be honest, when the story telling pieces were on paper and I had to cut them out, some months I wouldn’t even cut them out! If I did, we would use them once and then they would end up torn/wrinkled/mauled by a preschooler. Now that they are sturdier, the boys have been using them to make up so many stories!
Thanks for stopping by! Next week we will be learning about weather changes.
