This week we spent our preschool time learning about life in the Arctic. Our Mother Goose Time lessons covered the gear, shelters, and transportation needed in the arctic, as well as the north pole and icebergs.
The boys worked their fine motor skills by learning to sew with a needle, thread, and a plastic sewing square. This activity inspired Monkey to want to learn how to sew real clothing items with a sewing machine – so look out for that soon!
Booger loved designing snowmen with the snowman cards. After he successfully created al the ‘matching” snowmen, he mixed and matched to come up with his own designs. Then, we used our counting cubes and shape design mats to recreate arctic gear designs and then tried making our own designs.
Thanks for stopping by! Next week we will be starting a new theme – Dinosaur Dig!
